First held in 1934, the San Angelo Rodeo is one of the most beloved rodeos in Texas. Known for attracting great crowds and some of rodeo's best competitors, this rodeo has gained a reputation as a great show from start to finish. The April rodeo features three weeks of fierce competition in bronc and bull riding, calf and steer roping, and barrel racing, culminating in the Cinch Chute-Out, a winner-takes-all contest among 40 of the best.
